My immersion experience taught me about unconditional  love.   I chose this project because I learned  the only way I can be effective is to meet each individual at their own level of growth. I will always be respectful of their cultural, race, ethics background, and their religion.

Objective #2: Synthesize and integrate varied sources to inform decisions and create solutions and appropriate problem-solving strategies congruent with the social work knowledge base.

The Truth Commission project taught me that we have unsolved human rights problems in our society.  I chose this project because I learned "the harvest is plenty but the labor is few".  Dr. Bricker is a professor who walks and talks social justice, her statement: "to be the best social worker, you must care about humanity". This project gave me a williness to fight for social justice.
